DD2 hosting meet & greet with superintendent candidate Dr. Brenda Hafner
DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Inhabitants will have their 1st chance to meet a prospect seeking to replace longtime Dorchester District 2 Superintendent Joe Pye during a meet up with and greet Monday night.
District leaders introduced last 7 days it would host a collection of conferences with the local community enabling them a opportunity to get to know each of the a few finalist candidates.
Dr. Brenda Hafner will be launched as the initial meet-and-greet candidate for superintendent.
In accordance to the district, Dr. Hafner was named Guide Administrator for the Sumter School District on March 1, 2022, to serve until a new superintendent is named there.
“She has served as the Chief of Universities/Assistant Superintendent for Leadership & University Excellence for Sumter School District in Sumter, South Carolina since February 2018. Prior to her function as Main of Educational facilities/Assistant Superintendent, she served as both of those a center and high university principal in Richland University District Two,” DD2 reported in their announcement.
Dr. Hafner has encounter as a founding direct teacher, assistant principal, and social research instructor. She gained her Doctorate in Academic Leadership from Nova Southeastern College, her Learn of Arts in Teaching, Secondary and Middle Amount Social Studies from The Citadel, and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina.
